Sara Dalledonne

Lead, EU Relations & Regulatory Affairs, ESPI

Sara Dalledonne is a Policy and Regulatory Affairs expert with experience within the space sector, which includes working in a space-related think tank. She is the Lead on EU Relations and Regulatory Affairs at the European Space Policy Institute (ESPI), and she is the ESPI representative in Brussels. Within ESPI activities, she is the Coordinator & Project manager for the ‘Space as an Asset’ portfolio, comprising policy analysis related to EU, ESA and Member States’ governance, legal & regulatory affairs, space safety & sustainability and spectrum management. 

She is the Space Law expert reference at the University of Bologna in Italy, and a Member of the Support Committee for the Aviation & Space Journal (ASJ).  Prior to joining ESPI, she worked as a Research Assistant at the Institute of Air and Space Law at McGill University. She holds an L.L.M. in Air and Space Law from McGill University in Montréal, Canada, an L.L.M. in International Trade Law from ITCILO (University of Turin) and a 5-year Law degree from the University of Bologna.

She also completed an ITU Training Course in Satellite Coordination Procedures and Filings.
